New GPS Map 2021-1 Edition:
This newly updated HERE map of Europe for your Citroën Touchscreen 7' navigation system covers millions of square kilometers and many points of interest.
In addition to precise routes, these clear, rich maps feature many POIs: golf courses, theatres, hotels, car lots and much more making this latest edition of Citroën digital map the perfect guide to traveling through Europe.
This update also includes refreshed data for the following features:
2D Landmarks offers two-dimensional representations of major architectural structures, enhancing overall guidance and orientation
IMPORTANT
To identify the software version of the navigation system, follow this procedure:
* Press and hold (for 5 seconds) the 'SRC' key on the left touch screen.
* Select: System version.
View the version of the displayed software and use the compatible update according to the following versions:
* For a version 3.x, 4.x or a 5x 6x , please choose any Touchscreen 7' (SMEG + iV1) or 6x (SMEG + iV2) Europe map.

1. First try to install new maps 113.x without activation code:
to. Just format your pendrive of at least 8/16 GB of memory in FAT32 format and then just copy all the USB map files:
* To copy the files you have two options, the first one and the one that I usually use is to unzip the files in a folder of the desktop and then copy these files in the USB or unzip it in the USB directly (if I give you an error I advise you to try both methods )
Attention I have checked after trying several vehicles that fails in the USB port below the navigation screen. Please make the update in the USB port of the glove box (at least in the case of Peugeot 308) in case you only have a USB port to do it in that there will be no problem.
b. Then you just have to insert this USB key into the system with the engine turned on, then you must go to the navigation - Map Management - Mapping and Update - Update map. If your navigation system does not require any activation code means this, you do not need the activation code for this new maps (just update your region / country you want - look at FileRegion.txt )!
2. If your navigation system requires activation code, then follow these steps:
to. Unzip the file named generator.jar that you have downloaded from the link above.
b. Execute the program (it runs under JAVA, if you do not have it you will have to download it from the official page); put the number of your car's frame in the VIN box and in the window CCT.DAT.inf , look for the file inside the USB in the folder:
▪ For the SMEG systems: / SMEG_UPG / DATA / CCT.DAT.inf and press the GENERATE
button, the activation code will appear.
▪ For the SMEG + systems: / SMEG_PLUS_UPG / DATA / CCT.DAT.inf and press the GENERATE button, the activation code will appear.
▪ For the SMEG systems: / SMEG_IV2_UPG / DATA / CCT.DAT.inf and press the GENERATE button, you will want the activation code that will come out.
▪ RECOMMENDATION: OBTAIN THE 3 POSSIBLE CODES, SAY THEM TO GO PROBANDOLOS IN THE CAR UNTIL YOU SAY WITH THE CORRECT (with this you will
avoid being up and down to the garage when you fail the code)
▪ PS: When the code fails it gives the following message "Check the version of the cartography and / or the activation key"
c. We click the USB in the car. We let you read the device.
d. In the browser window, click on the settings tab of the screen and look for maps info, we will get the map of Europe with the information of each of the maps that we have in the installed browser and. Click on the SEARCH option and there you will access all the maps that we have in the USB.
F. We will choose the map / s that we want to update (so you can get an idea, the map of spain-portugal occupies some 430 mb, and it has taken me about 10 'to update) and will ask us to enter the activation code, which it will be the one that we have generated and pointed out in the 5th step. Once introduced, we accept and start the update, we will see a progress bar. When finished, the maps are updated.
