Instructions:
Extract the files to the root of your navigation device (ie. using WinRAR, 7-Zip, built-in extractor, etc). It can also be run from any other location, it should auto-detect the nav device.
If you have your maps on a separate SD card and it's not detected, you should copy the "ttgo.bif" or "ttnavigator.bif" from the internal memory so TTActivator recognises it.
Windows:
Double-click on TTActivator.exe.
Having issues?
If you are running Windows XP or Vista, you may need to install .NET Framework 4 https://www.microsoft.com/en-au/downloa ... x?id=17851 if it doesn't work. Windows 7, 8 and 10 users are recommended to install the latest .NET Framework Runtime available from here https://dotnet.microsoft.com/download/dotnet-framework if you are having issues with the online features.
macOS:
Download and install the Mono Runtime https://www.mono-project.com/download/stable/ (stable channel is recommended) and then double-click the TTActivator.command file. It may take a minute or two to start the first time for Mac users - this is normal, be patient. After that it will always start quickly.
Warning: TTActivator is not supported on macOS 10.15 (Catalina) and newer at this time because of removal of 32-bit app support.
Linux:
Download and install the Mono Runtime https://www.mono-project.com/download/stable/ (mono-complete package) and then run TTActivator.sh.
Map Downloader:
To find out which map generation/kind is best for your device, refer to the "Help" button in TTActivator or the latest TomTom Compatible Map chart in the TomTom Maps section
