After format, rebuild, the medianan doesn’t startup anymore....(it is empty offcourse)

The bootloader you installed, it starts your medianav under wince with the NK file copied to the root of your usb key

Got the USB stick with the NK.BIN in the root (and the two storage card maps).
At startup USB-led is blinking a while, but de Renault logois the only thing that shows up

bootloader compatible medianav v 4.1.0 must be installed before formatting, if not it is useless
* I mentioned in the previous discussion that it must be installed !!

put the usb key on your medianav support and wait a few minutes to access your WinCE Medianav
once under wince
to activate USB from Win Click on: Start - Programs - USB PHY On

if you forgot to install the bootloader the only solution for wince access is viewtopic.php?f=86&t=76

DBOOT was available before format/rebuild.
Now booting with USB doesn't work. Also not with NK.BIN from second method you descripe.
I will give this or other solutions you mentioned a try today.

if that doesn't work I have to get the medianav out of my car for further work.
Is there a way to get the Medianav to external power? 12V 3A? any idea which pins on the back must be used for power?

I did mention in my first messages, to install the bootloader

after formatting, the dboot program gets deleted because it is installed on the storage card. on the other hand the bootloader program is not erased after formatting because it is installed on rom medianav (read only memory) and not in the sotorage card

to start under wince, you have to open your mediana and follow this tutorial, because it is the only solution viewtopic.php?f=86&t=76
